I decided to post a couple more shots from the downtown trip on Wednesday.
This shot is of the NC State Capital Building. It looks cool enough to almost make you forget that our government sucks. ALMOST! =)
I'm not sure which building this is. I just thought it looked kind of cool. I have never really been into architecture at all. I mean, I understand what some people see in it. But I think it is kind of boring to photograph. So this was more of an exercise for me.
We went to downtown Raleigh this evening to hang out. We walked around a retro thrift store called Father and Son and then had lunch at The Raleigh Times restaurant. We decided to walk around the block on the way back to the car, so I took some pictures. Normally, you should use a tripod to photograph night scenes, but I didn't want to go all the way back to the car to get one. So, I became a human tripod and steadied myself as much as possible.

This is a year old, but I thought I would post it. I haven't posted enough lately, so you get this stuff. This ran last year in the "Independent Weekly," a tabloid sized magazine in the triangle area. The other one is three years old and ran before I re-opened The Brewery. We were almost doomed because we were labeled as a "metal club."
